Fair Usage Policy

Airmax Broadband Fair Usage Policy (FUP) Overview

All Airmax Broadband residential plans come with a generous high-speed data allocation of 1500 GB per month.
Once the 1500 GB monthly limit is reached, the connection speed is adjusted to 5 Mbps with truly unlimited data for the remainder of the monthly billing cycle.
This policy outlines our data usage structure and acceptable use boundaries to ensure consistent network performance and protect all our users.

What “Unlimited” Means at Airmax Broadband
Our residential plans provide uninterrupted internet access with no overage charges or sudden disconnections.
Subscribers enjoy their full subscribed plan speed up to 1500 GB of data usage every month.
Post 1500 GB usage in a billing cycle, speeds transition to an unlimited 5 Mbps connection until the monthly quota automatically resets at the start of the next billing cycle.

Prohibited Network Activities
To prevent network degradation for other subscribers, the following activities are strictly prohibited:
Running commercial-grade servers on residential plans.
Sustained P2P (peer-to-peer) seeding exceeding 100 Mbps for more than 6 consecutive hours.
Cryptocurrency mining using our network infrastructure.
Botnet activity, DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) attacks, or spam transmission.
Accessing or distributing illegal content as defined under the Information Technology Act 2000.

Network Management Practices
Beyond the standard 1500 GB monthly FUP limit, automated traffic prioritization may be applied during peak hours or unforeseen upstream events to preserve real-time applications and overall network stability.
Temporary congestion management is separate from your monthly FUP quota, and standard plan speeds (within the 1500 GB threshold) recover immediately when congestion clears.

Commercial Use on Residential Plans
Residential plans are strictly intended for personal household use.
Operating an ISP sub-network, running Wi-Fi hotspots for commercial resale, or hosting large-scale server farms requires an authorized Business or Reseller plan.
Unauthorized commercial use on a residential connection may result in mandatory plan upgrade enforcement or service suspension.

Notifications & Consequences
If unusual usage patterns or prohibited activities are detected, we will notify you via SMS or email before taking any restrictive action.
First Notice: Educational warning to help you identify and resolve the issue.
Second Notice: May result in temporary speed reduction to protect network integrity.
Repeated Violations: Continued engagement in prohibited activities may result in permanent account suspension.
